The Rover, directed by David Michod (Animal Kingdom), starting Guy Pearce and Robert Pattinson opens at the Oficial Selection in Cannes Film Festival.
Swimmer, the short I shot for Lynne Ramsay commissioned by the Olympics and produced by Warp Films, has won the BAFTA for Best Short Film 2013. Swimmer has been reviewed in December's American Cinematographer magazine. (December 2012 editon, Skyfall).

The BBC local radio commercial has collected another award for Best use of cinematography, this time a silver at the Eurobest Advertising Awards.
The BBC local radio "show your love" commercials collected another Cinematography Award. This time is the Yellow pencil for Best Cinematography at the prestigious D&AD Awards, and it's the 5th Cinematography Award I get for this series.
After being double nominated for the BTA Craft Awards for BEST CINEMATOGRAPHY with the two BBC radio commercials I shot last year, I got the SILVER ARROW for the first one "Show your Love" directed by Vince Squibb from Gorgeous.
I also got the SILVER ARROW for best visual composition on the same spot.
The Milk of Sorrow is my first film to be reviewed in American Cinematographer Magazine.
The first BBC radio commercial I shot last year for Rainey Kelly Campbell Roalfe / Y&R, directed by Vince Squibb (Gorgeous Enterprises UK), was awarded with the Bronze Lion in the 57th Cannes Advertising Festival 2010.
I've been invited by the Edimburg International Film Festival to give a masterclass as a part of the Industry Events programme.
The rende-vous is on June 24th from 10.30 to 11.30 at Cineworld 10.

IMAGO, The European Federation of Cinematographers, has invited me to be part of their Master Class “Meet the masters”, alongside cinematographers Ellen Kuras, Virginie St Martin and Jeanne Lapoirie.
The Masterclass will take part in Oslo, Norway, Nov 14th and 15th at the Norwegian Film Institue.
I just won the GOLDEN CAMERA 300 award for Best Cinematography for The Milk of Sorrow at the 30th Manaki Brothers International Cinematographer's Film Festival! The oldest film festival dedicated to Cinematographers. It was an honour to get it from a Jury presided by Peter Suschitsky and to share the stage with Life Time Achievement awarded Billy Williams, who used to be my teacher at the NFTS.
The UK Film Council is organising the event ON THE SPOTLIGHT: Natasha Braier. I will be interviewed by Ron Prince (Editor of the British Society of Cinematographers magazine) at the UK Film Center in the International Village, Cannes Film Festival,on Sunday 17th at 1.30PM. We will show clips of my work.
La Teta Asustada ("The Milk of Sorrow") started its round of festivals after Berlin with another first prize: BEST FILM at the Guadalajara Ibero-american Film Festival, Mexico. Also today my short film NEW LOVE, direted by Laurence Coriat, won both grand prix du jury and the prix audience jeune at the Festival du Rousset, France.
My film In the City of Sylvia, directed by Jose Luis Guerin, will be opening in UK Cinemas on March 13th.
"Film of the Week" five stars. Time Out.
